TCS v0.4.0 Beta Candidate  -  03/23/2014

  • Pre-Release Beta Candidate 0.4.0 stat balancing for all Job Crystals is finished.
  • HP and AP values to still be tweaked.
  • Customizable Job Crystal creation streamlined (coding simplified for variable value calls - decreases overall script time by several seconds when slotting Job Crystals)
  • Status effects still pending tweaking, some effects still not stacking/sticking properly when applied together.
  • Death now functioning properly. (No more walking dead!)
  • Redundant scripting for melee attack values streamlined (more coding stuff, makes things run faster)
  • Command/Physical abilities properly triggering off STR and VIT values instead of WIL.
  • UI recoded to be modular for future overhauls.
  • Overhead communication fixed? (now actually displays proper class/level when unit is locked)
  • Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.

So, as all of you are aware, the TCS is well into beta and development!  To all of our testers, thank you very much for your help and effort in squashing the various bugs we've found so far!

I'd like to take a moment to let everyone know that after several nights of discussions - the next major beta update for the TCS will involve some massive and utterly radical changes in the class lists.

More details will be released in the coming days and in a discussion thread here on the forums for your thoughts and feedback!

Excellent, excellent.  We'll begin setting numbers for stats and begin preliminary balancing for spells within the next couple days once we've confirmed the stability of the skill/spell loading and use for the system.

Once we have the first round of class stats set up, Beta Push 1?
